“A wonderful trek through the Tamang villages”
As a group of four friends, we had a great time trekking through the Tamang Heritage and Langtang region. Hari was excellent -- friendly and genuinely knowledgeable about the villages and local culture. We loved staying in the smaller settlements and meeting local families, and the mountain views were beautiful too. A very different experience from the busier trekking routes.
“A lovely short trek in Nepal”
We had a great few days on the Poon Hill and Dhampus trek -- a nice mix of forest trails, villages, and mountain views, with Poon Hill at sunrise as the obvious highlight. Our guide was friendly and helpful throughout, and MountainKick made all the arrangements easy. A great choice if you only have a few days to trek.
“A wonderful homestay experience”
We loved the Gurung Heritage Homestay trek. The families we stayed with were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home right away. The food, local culture, and simple pace of village life were the real highlights for us. MountainKick organized everything smoothly, and our guide was helpful throughout -- a genuinely special experience away from the usual trekking routes.
“Tough trek, amazing experience”
We had a brilliant time doing the Three Passes with Jeevan. There were definitely hard days, but he was patient and never rushed us. The scenery shifts constantly along the route, and every pass felt like its own adventure. Kongma La was especially tough, but standing at the top made it all worth it.
“A beautiful short trek from Pokhara”
As a couple, we really enjoyed the Pokhara Panorama trek. The walking was comfortable and the views over the Annapurna range were beautiful, especially in the early mornings. We also enjoyed passing through small villages and seeing a quieter side of the area. Our guide was excellent and MountainKick made everything very easy.
“An incredible experience in Lhasa”
We spent several days in Lhasa and absolutely loved it. The monasteries, temples, and Tibetan culture were fascinating, and having a local guide made everything much more meaningful. The Potala Palace was the obvious highlight, but we also enjoyed simply walking around the old streets and seeing everyday life. MountainKick organized everything very smoothly.
“A great way to see Kathmandu and Pokhara”
Visiting Nepal for the first time as a couple, this was a great introduction to the country. Kathmandu gave us the history and culture, while Pokhara was much more relaxed and scenic. Everything was well organized by MountainKick and our guide was always helpful -- we especially enjoyed the views around Pokhara and the early morning trip to see the mountains.
“A beautiful mix of culture and mountains”
We were a couple looking for a trek that included some local culture as well as mountain scenery, and this was perfect. The village stays were a real highlight, and we loved meeting the families and trying the local food -- Poon Hill was amazing at sunrise too. Our guide was friendly and helpful throughout, and MountainKick made everything very easy.
“An incredible trek in a remote part of Nepal”
We spent an amazing few weeks on the Kanchenjunga Circuit with Furi. The region feels genuinely remote and the mountain scenery is spectacular. He was experienced, calm, and easy to travel with, especially on the longer days -- demanding, but being far from the usual tourist routes made it completely worthwhile.
“An amazing ride from the mountains to Pokhara”
Jeevan guided us on the Muktinath to Pokhara ride and the change in scenery was incredible -- from the dry mountain landscape around Muktinath down into much greener valleys. There were some challenging sections, but the riding was a lot of fun and Jeevan kept everything running smoothly. A brilliant adventure with MountainKick.
