“A lovely escape from Kathmandu”

As a couple, we really enjoyed this short hike -- a nice way to get out of the city and spend time walking through villages and countryside around Nagarkot and Dhulikhel. The views were beautiful and the whole trip felt relaxed. MountainKick organized everything well and our guide was excellent.

Visiting Nepal for the first time as a couple, we really enjoyed this tour. It gave us a good mix of Kathmandu, cultural sites, mountain scenery, and time to experience local life without ever feeling rushed. We wanted a trip that gave us a bit of everything, and this was exactly it -- time in Kathmandu, some outdoor adventure, and the chance to experience local villages and scenery away from the city. We chose Bardiya because we wanted something quieter than Chitwan, and it was a great decision. Over several days exploring the park we were lucky enough to see rhinos, deer, monkeys, and plenty of birds -- the jungle felt wild and peaceful at the same time. As a couple, we had a wonderful time in Chitwan. The jungle safari was the highlight, especially seeing rhinos in the wild and exploring the park by jeep. As a family of four, this was a great introduction to Nepal. We enjoyed the mix of adventure, local villages, and the shorter trek in the hills -- everything was well organized and our guide was excellent with the whole family. There were four of us, and Gopal looked after everyone really well -- patient, friendly, and always aware of how the group was doing. We loved the changing landscapes, the small villages, and the sense of being somewhere much less developed. The day crossing Larkya La was hard work, but reaching the top was an incredible feeling.

As a group of three friends, we had a fantastic time on this route. Langtang itself was beautiful, but Gosainkunda was the real highlight for us. Our guide was excellent and made the longer days much easier, and finishing through Helambu showed us a completely different side of the region. MountainKick organized everything well.

There were five of us travelling together and Jeevan did a great job looking after everyone. He kept a comfortable pace and was always happy to stop for photos or a break. We loved the forests and villages on the way up, and the views from Kyanjin were incredible.
