“A completely different side of Nepal”

We had an amazing experience trekking from Khaptad to Rara with Gautam. The route was quiet and felt very remote, with beautiful forests, open hills, and hardly any other trekkers around. Badimalika was a real highlight, and finishing at Rara Lake was the perfect end to the journey -- Gautam looked after us very well throughout.

Lok Raj was great company for the week and especially good at pacing things for a family of four with different fitness levels. The scenery kept shifting the whole way, and arriving at ABC surrounded by mountains on all sides was incredible. MountainKick handled the logistics well, and getting things organized before the trip was easy.

Our family of four really enjoyed the Chitwan safari. The children loved the jungle activities and were especially excited when we spotted a rhino. We also enjoyed learning about local Tharu culture -- everything was well arranged by MountainKick and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We picked Gokyo over the usual Everest Base Camp route and don't regret it at all. Rames was friendly, experienced, and easy to travel with. The lakes, glaciers, and mountain views were stunning, especially around Gokyo itself. It felt like a genuine Himalayan adventure without the crowds.
