As it was first solo international trip and I was extremely selective of the trekking company. I went with this company and from the opening inquiry to the final post-trek correspondence; the service was up to the mark. I had with me a great guide in Parash. Parash was convincing in everything he did. From queries to last gasp trip questions, he handled them and convinced everyone with his diligence.
The trek was memorable in many senses. I was extremely delighted with the arrangements made by Parash. I being a “slow acclimatizer”needed more nights to adjust to the altitude. I only managed to get within two stops of the Everest Base Camp (Dinboche – 14800’). Parash was cheerful as always and the porters were very friendly too. One of my favouritepart of the hike was stopping at Khumjung for the night, followed by a leisurely stroll adjacent to Shyangboche airstrip then a short hike back down to Namche where I reunited with my small group.
I had an awesome time in the country while the company and the guides made sure I’d come back and trek with them again and again.
