I did the EBC and Gokyo trek as part of a small group, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Jiban guided us — patient, friendly, and clearly very familiar with the route. He never pushed the pace and was always around if we needed anything. Gokyo was the part that stuck with me most, though reaching Base Camp was its own kind of unforgettable.
