“We had the trip of our lifetime”
We had the trip of our lifetime thanks to the warm hospitality bestowed upon us and the beauty of such amazing country. No previous experience is required. Professional guides provide comprehensive safety briefings and instruction. The class 2-3 rapids are suitable for beginners while still providing excitement for experienced rafters.
All participants wear Coast Guard approved life jackets. Guides are trained in swift water rescue techniques. The rapids are designed to be challenging but safe, and there are calm sections for easy recovery if needed.
While basic swimming ability is recommended, non-swimmers can participate with proper safety precautions. Inform guides of swimming ability during the safety briefing for additional attention and support.
Age restrictions vary by season and water conditions. Generally, minimum age is 12-14 years with adult supervision. Maximum age depends on physical fitness rather than specific limits. Consult for current requirements.
Class 2 rapids have regular waves and clear passages requiring basic maneuvering. Class 3 rapids feature irregular waves and strong currents requiring more precise navigation. Both are considered intermediate level and suitable for most fitness levels.
Safety is the top priority. Trips may be cancelled or postponed due to unsafe weather or water conditions. Alternative dates will be offered, or full refunds provided if rescheduling is not possible.
