Pokhara is the most beautiful city in Nepal and there is no doubt about it. We spend plenty of time in the city in this short trip but there are three days of light to intense trekking packed in between to give you a complete experience.
The beautiful Pokhara city and the mountains that surround it provide the basis for a perfect vacation. There are parts in Pokhara city that are specifically designed for foreign tourists as in the restaurants, bars, clubs, and stores. But we will not just stay in the city, we will walk towards the Himalayas that seem teasingly close. The trek through forests and villages in the mountains give you a sense of living with the nature. This relatively easy trekking trip is highly suitable for travelling with family or friends.
We will pick you up at the airport as you land into Kathmandu (4,600 feet) and drop you to your hotel. You must be tired after such a long flight.

The city is also a good place to go shopping and the food here is also amazing. And if you want to go out for drinks, there are several good cafes and bars that cater well to tourists. In the evening, we will meet up to brief you on your trip ahead.

As one of the core guiding principles for Mountain Kick, we always give back to the mountain community in any way we can as a means of gratitude. The people who live in the Himalayas and share their homes with us deserve to have all their little problems fixed which seem very basic for outsiders but are commonplace in rural Nepal. The people lack proper access to healthcare, sanitation and education but a little effort from travellers goes on a long way to solve these issues. Mountain Kick has made it its corporate social responsibility to help improve the living standards of the local community. We make donations to their cause, organize social campaigns and programs and also have a few trips designed to mix a little volunteer work in your holiday.
