Nepal is a perfect place for your honeymoon as the Himalayas and the natural beauty of this country fuels romance while the adventure of travelling in the mountains is something to remember for the ages.
A representative of Mountain Kick will receive you and your partner at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Rest overnight at your luxurious five-star hotel musing over your honeymoon in the Himalayas.
We will take you on a guided tour to three iconic monuments in Kathmandu which are included in the Unesco’s World Heritage List. Our first stop will be the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The square is a former royal courtyard where there are several ancient temples and monuments to visit. The place is rich in culture and preserves the traditional way of living.
Our next destination for the day will be the Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. This Buddhist monastery that sits on a hilltop has a peaceful atmosphere and provides panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.
We visit another World Heritage Site of Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the country. It is believed that the Stupa is a tomb of an incarnation of Lord Buddha.
A less-than-30-minute flight will take you to Pokhara which is one of the most beautiful cities in Nepal. The city has a beautiful lake, is surrounded by mountains and has plenty of restaurants, bars and other hangouts geared for foreign tourists. The city is especially known for its nightlife, which is unparalleled in Nepal.
Pokhara is a beautiful city and there are so many natural and man-made locations to visit. We will take you on a guided tour of the Bindabashani Temple,Old Pokhara City, the Mahendra Cave, the Bat Cave, Devi’s Fall, Seti river gorges, Gorkha Museum, the Phewa Lake (where you can go boating), the Barahi temple, Sarangkot Hill, and many more.
We will leave Pokhara behind and head south to Chitwan in a luxurious private car. You will be treated with views of hills and forests throughout the five to seven hours’ journey to Chitwan. We will stay in a jungle resort inside the national park.
There are so many fun activities in Chitwan National Park that one day is not enough. Elephant safari, jeep safari, watching wildlife, canoeing, mixing with indigenous people of the jungle – the options are so many that you will be spoilt for choice.
As one day is not enough, engage in some more fun activities before returning to Kathmandu. We will take a flight back to Kathmandu later in the day.
There is nothing planned for this day so you can spend it the way you want to. Kathmandu offers a range of activities that you will not be disappointed. You can go shopping or sightseeing or you can just relax at your hotel.
We will take you very close to Mount Everest in an hour-long mountain flight. You will be able to see majestic Himalayan peaks, along with glaciers and lakes, as the airplane take you as close as 20 miles from Mount Everest. Mountain Kick will host a farewell dinner in the evening to end your great Nepali vacation.
We will drop you to the airport.
In Kathmandu, you will stay in a five-star hotel while you will be staying at standard guesthouses during your travel. There will be electricity, internet, laundry and hot showers in all of the places you stay and your room will have an attached washroom. Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional USD 50.
All you need to bring for this tour is simply some comfortable clothes. You don’t need any special gear for touring around Nepal. Just make sure you have clothes according to the season you are arriving.
