The hills around Pokhara offer beautiful views of the city below and the majestic Himalayas above. The trails we take on this journey takes you through alpine forests and to villages rich in culture. The trip focuses mostly on sightseeing and relaxing so it serves as perfect holiday with family and friends.
We will receive you at the airport in Kathmandu (4,600 feet) and take you to your hotel.
We will take you around Kathmandu to different heritage sites and happening places to make you see why this ancient city is so popular among tourists. Kathmandu is rich in culture and the ancient parts of the city have not changed for hundreds of years. A pre-trip meeting will be held in the evening to run you through the itinerary.
A tourist bus will take you to Pokhara, the famous tourist town on the bank of the Phewa Lake. We reach Pokhara in seven hours and have to pass green hills after hills to get there. Everyone going to or returning from Annapurna stays at Pokhara, so you will meet plenty of travellers like yourself here. The lakeside area offers an amazing nightlife to relax you ahead of your trekking trip.
We begin our trek with a five-hour hike to Pumdi village. We climb up the hill with beautiful view of the Pokhara Valley and the Phewa Lake accompanying us towards the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist shrine dedicated to world peace. Just across the pagoda lies Pumdi. There is a three-storied view tower here to get even better views of Pokhara and the Himalayas.
With the Himalayas in the backdrop we make our way through rhododendron forests toward Panchase. There are beautiful alpine grasslands along the way as well which are perfect for taking pictures. After we climb for some five hours, a small village will appear on the foot of the Panchase Hill which is our destination.
We will climb to the top of Panchase in the morning. It is a two-hour hike through a forest. Needless to say, the view from the summit is worth the trip and you can see the entire Annapurna massif from here. We walk back down to the village for lunch and then leave for Bhadaure. Three hours of downhill trek through forests should get us there.
Yet more forests and views of the Himalayas will accompany us till our trek to Kande village. It takes three hours to get there and it is the last of it. From Kande, you will be driven to Pokhara in a private vehicle and it takes roughly one hour. After lunch, our guide will take you around Pokhara. Pokhara is the most beautiful city in Nepal and that is why tourists from all around the world come here. Major tourist attractions are the Devi’s Fall, the Mahendra Cave, the Bat Cave, and the Phewa Lake. The lakeside area is a great place for tourists to hangout and the nightlife here is amazing.
Having trekked around the Pokhara Valley, we return to Kathmandu. Mountain Kick will host a farewell dinner for you to culminate your vacation.
We will drop you off to the airport but we are sure that you will want to come back again.
In Kathmandu, you will stay in a three-star hotel while you will be staying at standard guesthouses during your travel. There will be electricity, internet, laundry and hot showers in all of the places you stay. You will have to share your room with a fellow traveller in our typical package. Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional USD 250.Also note that single rooms is easily available in Kathmandu and the trekking regions at lower elevation but it might be difficult to find them at higher elevations.

The people lack proper access to healthcare, sanitation and education but a little effort from travellers goes on a long way to solve these issues. Mountain Kick has made it its corporate social responsibility to help improve the living standards of the local community.
