How to get Nepal visa

Nepal is a top-rated tourism destination in the world because it has the ocean of mountains, hills, valleys, cultures, rivers, religion, and historical monuments. Above all, it is the country of peace, where beautiful mountains and ranges are above the words that can describe them. And it is also the country, which you should visit at least once in your lifetime; after all, it has the world’s highest mountain, 4 (8000 m peaks), and friendly people. It is also the cheapest tourist destination in the world, as well as the number one destination for a climber and a trekker. It is also different for the foreigners when they see the Nepalese people living happily in the midst of the infrastructure that has been forgotten by the modern world. The people of that world still come to Nepal because they know that it is a home to adventurous activities.

Neither coming to Nepal nor planning a trip over there is difficult because there are a number of travel agencies which you can choose on the basis of their service, and Tribhuwan International Airport, which is the only international airport of Nepal as of now, will easily give you the Nepalese Visa after completing certain formalities. For example, all you need to do is to fill up the visa form application and provide the immigration department of the airport a passport that has a validity of 6 months, 2 passport-sized photos, and a certain amount of currency.

You can pay the visa fee in any major currency. But it will be better if you pay it in USD. Because it is flexible. The fee for a multiple entry visa to Nepal is US dollars 25, which is valid for 15 days and USD 40, which is valid for 30 days. You can also go for 90 days visa for 100 dollars. If you want to extend the visa, then you need to pay US dollar 2 per day. If you are coming to Nepal by bus, then you can get the Nepalese visa at different parts of the Indo-Nepal border, such as

  • Kakarvitta
  • Birganj
  • Kodari
  • Belahia
  • Jamunaha
  • Mohana
  • Gaddachauki

In addition to the airport and borders, you can also get the Nepalese visa from any Nepalese Embassies or Consulates.
